Birch 'Harvest' Drinking Vessel With Urushi

A hand carved drinking vessel from silver birch.

Made freehand, using analogue hand tools using green wood carving techniques. 

Lacquered with Tosuguro urushi using fuki urushi methods. 

This vessel has a beautifully thin wall with a nice deep urushi finish

This product has been heat tested with boiling water, then left to cool twice and has passed.
