Walnut 'Harvest' Drinking Vessel With Urushi

A hand carved drinking vessel from walnut.

Made freehand, using analogue hand tools using green wood carving techniques.

The vessel features a lovely knot feature on the outside that is stable and a little light grain 'freckle' in the end grain at the front.  

Lacquered with Tosuguro urushi using fuki urushi methods. 

This product has been heat tested with boiling water, then left to cool twice and has passed.
