Small Wanut 'Harvest' Vessel With Urushi

A hand carved drinking vessel from walnut.

Made freehand, using analogue hand tools using green wood carving techniques. 

Lacquered with Tosuguro and suki kurome urushi using fuki urushi methods. 

The vessel lip warped lightly upon drying which I particularly like.  

This product has been heat tested with boiling water, then left to cool twice and has passed.
