Walnut 'Harvest' Drinking Vessel With Urushi

A hand carved drinking vessel from walnut.

Made freehand, using analogue hand tools using green wood carving techniques. 

Lacquered with suki kurome using fuki urushi methods. 

The vessel has a small patch of spalting that can be seen just beneath the lip. 

This product has been heat tested with boiling water, then left to cool twice and has passed.
