Walnut 'Pomegranate' Drinking Vessel With Urushi

A hand carved drinking vessel from walnut.

Made freehand, using analogue hand tools using green wood carving techniques. 

The vessel features a cleft surface on the drinking lip.

Lacquered with suki kurome urushi using fuki urushi methods. 

This product has been heat tested with boiling water, then left to cool twice and has passed. 

Volume: 150ml
